Can’t wait to hear what Sali and Swindell have to say about THIS!
There’s a renewed effort afoot to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, which would - gasp - enshrine gender equality in the constitution. First introduced in the 1920’s (!), it passed 35 states in the 1980’s before it was killed by schmucks like Phyllis Schlafley.
What do prostitutuion, pot, and…uh, electronic voting machines have in common?
Seems the Dutch -ever the forward-thinkers- don’t trust voting machines. (yeah, it’s in Dutch-sorry!) According to an English translation of the groups’ newsletter, they won a round against the industry and the civil servants that seem hell-bent on reintroducing voting machines — NewVote, made by SDU — that the Dutch minister of the interior has suspended.
