cheney is going down: i’m squishing your head
so, by way of Crooks And Liars, who got it from an inside source at Comedy Central . . . they heard that Cheney is going to step down and Condosleeza Rice is going to take his position. which, i have to confess, had secretly calculated in the back of my mind because of a rather bizzare move a few weeks ago; the creepy john negroponte moved from his post as the knower of all secret things, serving at the will of the president, to an underling position at the department of state, under condosleeza. huhh? went the people, why that’s an odd decision . . . now we know, via crooks and liars, via comedy central, via raw story, via our own niggling odd-o-meter going ding ding ding, that our wager is now apparently a waiting game. another quality source, someone i read on some other blog somewhere else, suggested that cheney might have taken some sort of medication, when he put the mysterious “thing in his mouth”, and that he’s not in very good health. maybe?
did you happen to catch this video? cheney is being grilled by Wolf Blitzer-krieg from “The Situation Room” . . . at the end, wolf asks dick about mary, who stars in the ongoing drama of the-gay-daughter-as awkward-republican-talking point, who is now going to have a baby . . . blowing conservative minds everywhere . . . wolf gets into the discussion, cheney tries to shut him down, and then with his eyes alone, cheney signals that he would like to pull out his 007 mini-shotgun and pepper wolf something fierce. Now you’re just taunting me. There are indeed some recent disclosures that would provide some credence to the Cheney resignation but Condi for VP? The scowling cheerleader? Is she even remotely qualified? Other than provide really bad advice on the Iraq War which was ignored anyway what are her accomplishments? I know she has an oil tanker named afer her. Wouldn’t she have to go through Senate confirmation? Has she ever been elected to anything? You make a good point on Nosferatu er, Negroponte.
Here’s another tin foil hat theory yet to be formed I’ve been kicking around. Remember close to the election Cheney getting summoned to Riyadh for a quick down and dirty with his handlers. Then within days the Saudi ambassador to the US just up and quits without so much as buh bye. What’s your take on those developments?
yeah - i would NOT like to see condosleeza in office, i was just passing along the tip, which coincided with my inklings.
i hadn’t yet heard of the election travel to the middle east . . . i’ll look into it . . .
